It is a natural product that is extracted from rosemary.As the main active components of the extract, Carnosic acid and carnosol have been sugges- ted to account for over 90% of the antioxidant properties of the extract. They are powerful inhibitors of lipid peroxidation in microsomal and liposomal systems and are good scavengers of peroxyl radical and superoxide anion. Furthermore , they have the characteristics of high-efficiency, nontoxicity, stability and high temperature resistance that can be widely used in oil ,food containing fat , biomedicine, industry, cosmetic, feed as a natural green food additives .
